CMPSCI 591O: Character Animation


The goal of this course is to teach character animation, lighting techniques, cinematography, and the application of these topics to 3D-computer animation using Hash: Animation Master.

Small projects are assigned throughout the semester to build up basic animation techniques and at the end of the semester each student creates a one-minute animation showcasing the skills they built up. Students learn through a combination of lectures, critiques, and hands-on work the computer lab.
