CMPSCI 552: Interactive Multimedia Production (Unavailable)

This is a 3 credit course dealing with Macromedia Director 8.5 and it's programming language "Lingo".

During the first few weeks of the course we cover basic fundamentals of using the Director program, basic animations, tweening, and small Lingo programming. After students are comfortable with the basics of the program, we move ahead into advanced Lingo to control animations and other elements. We also begin to move away from conventional animation through motion tweens and begin using just Lingo in all assigned projects.

The assignments for the course are medium sized projects with one large final project at the end of the semester. The number of projects range from four to six, depending on how much time is left in the semester before the final project.
