This course provides an overview of 3D computer modeling. Topics include organic and inorganic models, surfacing, lighting, character design and scene composition, as well as analyzing existing 3D art.

The goal of the course is to leave the student with knowledge of many areas of computer modeling, and the ability to create independent work.

Course work is divided up into several individual projects throughout the semester, each concentrating on a specific area of modeling.
Student critiques and discussion of topics will occur frequently. This course is dedicated solely to the creation of still works and models.
