Work with your team to come up with a team name. This name must relate in some way with energy in the human body.

Once you have a name for your team, decide on team colors and design a flag for your team.. Your teacher will provide materials for you to use. Make the flag large enough to display it prominently for all to see. Think carefully about this flag. It should reflect who you are AS A TEAM as well as the subject of energy in the human body.

• printouts from the internet, etc.

Next your teacher will have you design either a team box or a folder to keep all your drawings and projects. Follow the directions given by your teacher.

As you complete these activities, pay close attention to how well your group works together.

Are there areas that you need to work on?

How can you be a more effective group member?

How can you help others to learn without telling them how to do something or giving away the answer?

How can you encourage all team members to participate and share their ideas?

How can the group divide up work so that all students share equally?

These are all important questions to think about and discuss as a group before starting this unit.
