When the stomach has broken the food down considerably, where do the small food particles go next?

Now we have seen a series of steps the digestive system takes to get the food you ate into a form that is small enough for your body to use it. We will discuss more about what happens to the digested food once it gets to the small and large intestines later in this unit.
